Onno Roozen is opgeleid als acteur aan de Toneelacademie Maastricht. Na zijn afstuderen in 1987 werkte hij als freelance acteur bij theatergezelschappen in Nederland en België.
Van 1999 tot 2001 studeerde hij aan de Fotoacademie in Amsterdam (richting Journalistiek, Documentair en Portret). Sindsdien combineert hij zijn acteercarrière met professionele fotografie. Hij maakt autonoom werk en fotografeert in opdracht.
Daarnaast ontwikkelt hij in samenwerking met Wieky de Boer diverse projecten onder de naam ROOZEN & DE BOER.

Onno Roozen studied acting at the Maastricht Academy of Performing Arts. Since graduating in 1987, he has worked as a freelance actor for several Dutch and Belgian theatre companies.
He attended the Fotoacademie in Amsterdam from 1999 – 2001 (Journalism, Documentary and Portrait). Since then, he has combined his acting and photography careers. He produces both autonomous and commissioned work.
In collaboration with Wieky de Boer, he also develops diverse projects under the name ROOZEN & DE BOER.
